How can I make my acura rsx type s as fast as possible without ruining the reliability?

How much added hoarse power can a stock acura rsx type s take and how can I maximize this without breaking the back or the engine.|||I find the cams will give you better horsepower at high revs, but you lose out on lower end torque. Which I find really annoying...as if Honda engines don't suffer from lack of torque already. Not that I wanna do burnouts, but driving around town, or up a steep hill, some more torque would be nice.|||Idk adding a turbo always messes with the reliablity. Especialy if you dont know what your doing. The rsx type s is already pretty quick add a full catback system exhaust new headers and cold air intake to let it breath. get light weight racign rims also. If you can find a bolt on supercharger do that.|||best bet is to open all your air flow and swap cams if you wanna get quick.

intake, throttle body bore to 70mm, intake manifold... then exhaust it with a race header and full cat back.

then if you add a nice well tested ECU re-program like hondata #4 or hondata K-Pro You'll see very nice improvements.

The car will run good as new.

If you wanna step it up and make it even faster, Try those upgrades with Cams. Toda are the best in my opinion but very pricey. You'll need valve springs as well because the car will be reving up to 8800 rpm. Most cam packages come with valve springs. Never buy them without.

Put you into mid 13's still running like stock.

Check out clubrsx.com if you havn't already been there. Great place to learn and buy.
