Why has my 1997 Acura CL stopped beeping when i lock and unlock it?

I have a 1997 Acura CL and it used to beep when i locked and unlocked it. About a week ago it stopped beeping and I havn't figured out why? Any ideas on how i can get it to start beeping at me again?|||press the trunk button and like right after hit the lock button...like a split second after and youll see the red light flash once at the top and that means it is working. If you do the same procedure again, it will blink twice telling you its not going to beep anymore.
