What brand of speakers would be best for an 1998 acura?

I am hoping to get my boyfriend a new sound system for his Acura. He loves the thing and I want to make him happy. But I want a great brand of speakers that will sound perfect and wont give him any problems. Im not looking for something to over prices but a decent amount for a gift. Any other accessories that would make it sounds better would be helpfull as well. As of right now he has one speaker working so anything would be an improvement but I want to impresses him.
