my 1989 acura legend wont start after i turn it off when its hot outside..i have to have someone jump it to help me get it started..|||start with the battery terminals.
can you wiggle the cables at the battery?
if you can, they are loose and need tightened. the ends may need bent or replaced to grip tightly again.
are they dirty, white or greenish "powdery" buildup on the terminals?
mix some baking soda with water, use an old tooth brush and that mix to clean it. and then reisntall cables tightly.|||i think, perhaps you may need a new battery.if you turn a car off and can't restart it and need a jump..to get it moving? ohh, i would just check out the battery..|||check the battery terminals for corrode. you might be losing contact at the terminals.
