I have a 1995 Acura Integra, with an automatic transmission. Two days ago I went to get into the car and the shift lock was on, and my brake lights won't work. I've already replaced the fuse, and that hasn't fixed the problem. Other than going into a mechanic and getting the solanoid replaced, what else could be the problem? Could one brake light going out cause the whole issue? Should I try replacing the brake light bulbs?|||That one is tied into the brake lights. That is so you will know when you have a brake light failure (some cars have the interior, or dash lights in the brake light circuit).
If you have brake lights out, that could be the trouble.
